A specially formulated iodine solution for disinfecting animal skin, premises, and instruments. Contains 5% povidone Iodine.
Povidone-iodine, the active ingredient in Betadine® is active against most gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including antibiotic-resistant strains, as well as most protozoa, fungi, and viruses in vitro. For more than 4 decades Betadine® has been used in homes and hospitals worldwide as an important first line of defense against topical infections. Betadine help to reduce bacteria that potentially can cause skin infection.
