When a large number of bacteria get into a wound, it can get infected. There are different types of bacteria. More than one type may infect your wound at the same time. Normal bacteria that live on your skin often enter a wound first. A break in the skin gives them a chance to enter it and cause infection. Bacteria may also come from the environment, such as soil, air, or water. If an object such as a nail caused the wound, bacteria may come from that. If you are bit by an animal or person, their saliva could also cause infection.

Tuttnauer 2340M Autoclave Sterilizer. Used but in excellent condition and it works perfectly. Physically, It has a slight indent in the top left sheet metal (see photos) that could be easily popped out, but it in no way affects the operation of the autoclave. Other than a few light scratches and a few small marks from a Sharpie pen, it is in great condition.
